Me and Quin attended this fest today. Lots of really neat things, pottery, purses galore, original art, wind chimes made of flattened silverware (my favorite), and about twenty two billion people + two (me and Quin)
I managed to score a kick ass parking spot--although I had the nagging feeling when I got back to my car it would be towed--it was not--thankfully.
Saddest moment, the little boy in line in front of Quin at the Rock Climbing Wall ( I didn't participate) didn't make the weight cut--you gotta be 40 lbs buddy--or no rock climbing for you, and the cutie boys that are in charge have a scale, and make no exceptions.
He weighed in at 37 lbs, which must have felt like 50 lbs to his dad who held him as he cried silently damning the rules. My suggestion that he head back to the funnel cake line to pack on the extra three lbs fell on deaf ears--although his dad nodded, and wiped more sweat from his brow.
In the end we bought a marionette--which before we even got home turned into a tangled frustration festival.
There you have it--here's the link--not the greatest--there may be better ones out there:
