Couldn't have been nicer storm, at least here in the Raleigh area--espicially, if you love rain in the middle of the night. At the George house we call that "good sleeping weather".
It was soggy this morning, we actually packed an umbrella--which we did need--other than that, things got watered.
Sort of like up north when they say it's going to snow; in the WINTER!
I've always said that the grocery stores are in "cahoots" (is that the correct spelling?), with the tv stations and send us off to buy generators, candles, batteries and what not, and their sales soar.

I hate to sound like an older person, crabbing about the world--but seriously!

ps: that said, I'm sure Ike is going to put me in my place.
