Kaitlin Ariel George

on this day, back in 1985, me and Mike thought we knew everything--seriously--everything, there was to know, on the planet.
Then, my water broke.
We proceeded to do a sit-com situatialesque routine of driving around Lake Eola in Orlando in a loop fashion looking for the hospital as my contractions increased at a rapid pace.
In hindsight, we made it in plenty of time--and what we received that day--was a gift.

We named her Kaitlin.

She made history as the first George girl born since Aunt Patt, in 19**. (**aka, a few years ago)
She has her Dad's temper, and her Mom's sense of humor--she is incredibly smart, strong, and fiercely independent.
She can lay floor tile, or--if necessary--look like she just walked out of a magazine, and everything in between.
September 11'th is a day when America takes a deep breath--remembering what happened to our country and I always think about that too, --but, for me, September 11th will go down in history, as a day that me and Mike were given a gift;
We named her Kaitlin.

Happy Birthday Kaitlin--we love you,
Mom, Dad, Erin, and Quin
(bonus love: Joe and Oscar)
