Today is December 3rd, 2008.
A long, long time ago (something to hum by below)
I can still remember sitting around the table doing the math on how old we would all be when the new baby turned 10.
Kaitlin would be 23--jeez, she would be "so" old, and Erin Liz,-she would be (also very old) 19. Mike would be blah, blah, and I would be a bit younger than blah, blah.
All of a sudden we are here, and that 3lb 14 oz baby that we brought home--and we have the pictures of her by the clicker, a piece of celery, and a baseball to prove it, is into the double digits, year-wise.
She is very big now, I think in part, because we all rubbed her legs when she was a baby--and the big girls tossed her around unmercifly, and never, ever underestimate the power of Ramen Noodles and hot sauce. I think they should rename the stuff "Quin Marie Noodles".
She was raised by three moms and a dad, and she is a little more "savvy" than her friends that don't have big sisters, but that is what she is-our big 10 year old, double digit girl,
Happy 10th Birthday Quinny!
Love,
Mom, Dad, Kaitlin, Erin, Joe, and Oscar!
