If you know me, you know that I love to take something old and turn it into something new--sometimes---but sometimes, you just, must let it be.
Case in point--my mom sent this down to Quinny and me, and told us to do our thing to it--
I give you before and after: 
No big change here--because why--I had great ideas, we were going to cover it in maps, or paint it, or cover it in broken up pieces of rocks and shells....
in the end Quin, in her 10 year old wisdom said "I like it just like it is, Mom".
And so it shall be, the little chest of dreswers is in her room, and I have learned a lesson today-green dressers are in, and so are smart little girls. I'm lucky.
